Khalid ibn al-Walid
The book "The Sword of Allah Khalid ibn al-Walid" is written by a Pakistani officer with the rank of Major General, who is responsible for teaching the subject of military history at the Pakistani Command and Staff College. It discusses in detail and in a good military style the life and military education of the Arabs in the pre-Islamic and post-Islamic period and the life of Khalid ibn al-Walid from his youth until his death. It contains a detailed explanation of all the battles that Khalid fought or led, with diagrams, all from Arabic sources. The author seems to be well acquainted with Arabic historical books, as well as some foreign books on the subject. He is also familiar with some foreign books on the subject. In addition to explaining the early battles of Islam, this book is the story of the greatest military leader of his time and the heroic warriors who fought with him from victory to victory. This book traces Khalid's life and campaigns from his boyhood days in Mecca to his last days in the city of Homs and gives a clear and interesting picture of his battles in the time of the Prophet, first as a polytheist and then as a believer. It also explains his battles against apostates, his conquest of roads during the time of Caliph Abu Bakr, his incredible march to the Levant, and his battles.
